Full Job Description

CNC Swiss Programmer / Setup Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer/Setup Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating multi-axis Swiss CNC lathes to produce high-quality, close-tolerance components.

Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate multi-axis Swiss CNC lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
Determine machining processes, tooling, and CNC programming.
Create fixtures and tooling as needed.
Inspect finished parts and troubleshoot machining or tooling issues.
Machine a variety of materials, including metals, exotic alloys, and plastics.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Approximately 7+ years of Swiss CNC programming and setup experience.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and close-tolerance machining.
Experience creating fixtures and tooling.
Ability to inspect your own work using precision measuring tools.
SolidWorks and CMM experience are a plus.
