We are seeking a Drill Assistant / Driller Helper to support drilling operations throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to learn and grow into a Driller position.
No drilling experience required — we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors, traveling, operating equipment, working with tools, and being part of a hardworking team environment. Individuals who are dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and willing to learn will do well in this role.
What You'll Do
- Assist drillers with daily drilling operations
- Move, set up, and maintain drilling rigs and support equipment
- Load tools, materials, and supplies onto trucks and drill rigs
- Drive medium-duty trucks to and from job sites
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment servicing
- Assist with well installation, sampling, and field operations
- Perform physical labor including lifting, shoveling, and transporting materials
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Travel regularly throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver’s license required (Class A or B CDL is a plus)
- Clean driving record
- Must be willing to travel extensively and work out of town
- Some weekend work required
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds throughout the workday
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
- Must be at least 21 years old to meet interstate DOT regulations
- Must pass a DOT drug screening, including marijuana
Pay
- $22.00–$24.00 per hour starting pay
- Higher starting pay may be available depending on experience and CDL status
