Company Overview

The Logistics

Well Marriage Center Couples Therapists must be clinically licensed in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD/PhD), have a preferred minimum of 10 years of clinical experience post-grad school, and should have an eclectic/diverse “toolbox” of approaches, methods, and interventions for helping individuals and couples.

This position will have a minimum 4 days of in-office availability and either 2 evenings (5pm, 6pm and 7pm blocks of time) or weekend availability. We also have virtual clients but in-person is the current demand.

This is a W2, commission-based, pay structure which allows us to pay therapists more and also keep the tax structure simple.

We are not an agency! Here are even more advantages we offer:

A Therapist Support Coordinator who supports every professional and logistical need that you have.
A Digital Marketing Coordinator whose job is to drive marketing and leads and make you successful!
We pay for you to go through the best one-year couples training program we've found and provide support the entire way through.
All private-pay clients! No hassling with insurance companies for reimbursement.
Higher functioning clients with minimal Axis 2 disorders.
Not a position that requires a lot of paperwork. We keep things streamlined.
401K contribution from employer and continuing education financial support.
We have a team of 30+ outstanding therapists (This team is the best perk!)
You can do well here! This will feel like a private practice in many ways.

Full Time or Part Time - we'll consider either. Our team has built a great reputation and we're interested in someone who can provide the highest quality therapy for our Alexandria and surrounding communities. This is an ideal position for someone who likes to be in the room with couples but doesn't enjoy the business and marketing aspects as much. You get to focus on the clinical care of couples!
