Hiring (Good) Coaches for Fitness classes and Personal Training - Onsite

We are The Field Fitness and we’re looking for Coaches interested in part-time or full-time positions at our West San Jose/Cupertino studio. Our gym offers small group classes and personal training with science-based programming and a focus on injury prevention as our foundation. So we highly value candidates who have a strong preference for evidence-based fitness approaches. And whether you have years of experience or just completed your cert, we offer on-the-job training to quickly familiarize you with our processes and procedures so that we’re all on the same page as a team.

Responsibilities:

Assess and correct members' movements in real time.
Provide appropriate regressions and progressions for all exercises.
Promote an energetic and welcoming environment.
Conduct client fitness assessments.
Offer science-based information regarding exercise, nutrition, and fitness recommendations.
Create progressive workout plans with clear and measurable goals for personal training.

Requirements:

AED/CPR certification
Current fitness certification (or in the process of obtaining one)
Experience working with people in exercise or rehab settings (professional or voluntary)
Proof of previous COVID-19 vaccination (even if outdated) or a medical/religious exemption

Not Required (but would be great):

Kins or science related degree (in progress is fine)
Group training experience
Personal training experience
