Patient Care Coordinator — Los Angeles, CA (New Clinic Opening)

Help build a brand-new oncology theranostics clinic from day one and shape how patients experience advanced cancer care.

We are opening a new outpatient oncology clinic in Los Angeles focused on advanced radiopharmaceutical therapy, bringing cutting-edge cancer treatment closer to patients in their communities.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build the clinic from day one and define how care is delivered, how the team operates, and how patients experience every visit.

About the Role

This is more than a front-desk job.

As our Patient Care Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for patients and a steady presence throughout their visit. You will combine front desk coordination with Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) responsibilities to support smooth clinic flow.

On the clinical side, you will assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, preparing exam and procedure rooms, documenting basic clinical information, and supporting providers and clinical staff during patient care.

On the administrative side, you will manage scheduling, registration, insurance verification, patient communication, and coordination of visits.

You help keep the clinic organized and ensure a smooth, supported patient experience from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

Greet and room patients
Take and document vitals and basic clinical information
Prepare exam and procedure rooms
Support providers and clinical staff during visits
Manage scheduling, calls, messages, and patient flow
Handle registration, insurance verification, and copays
Coordinate patient records and documentation
Ensure smooth communication between clinical and administrative teams

What You Bring

5+ years in a healthcare or medical office setting
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
Experience with vitals, rooming, and clinical room prep
Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes
Professional, calm communication with patients and providers
High attention to detail and strong respect for confidentiality
Ability to stay organized in a busy, changing environment

About Our Team

We are launching a new outpatient oncology clinic in Los Angeles and building the team from the ground up.

You will work closely with nuclear medicine physicians, nuclear medicine technologists, and clinical staff to establish workflows, team culture, and the patient experience from day one. In a small, growing clinic, everyone contributes, and your input will help shape how care is delivered.

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with exposure to radiopharmaceutical therapy and involvement in ongoing clinical research as the clinic develops.
