Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Grill Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be the heart of our kitchen, responsible for preparing delicious grilled dishes that delight our guests. Your expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety will ensure every plate served meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes following established recipes and menu specifications
Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presented attractively for guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards
Handle food ingredients with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and rotation to prevent waste
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service hours
Support events or special functions by preparing large quantities of grilled foods as needed

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various grilling techniques
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, especially in fine dining or catering contexts
