Juicer / Team Member
Toastique Downtown Los Angeles – DTLA
Toastique is looking for a dependable, energetic Juicer / Team Member to join our Downtown Los Angeles team.
This position will have primary responsibility for preparing our fresh, cold-pressed bottled juices while also supporting the team with food preparation, guest service, cleaning, and other day-to-day restaurant operations.
What You'll Do
Cold-Pressed Juice Production
- Prepare fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients according to Toastique recipes and specifications.
- Wash, weigh, cut, peel, and organize produce for juice production.
- Operate our commercial cold-press juicing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow Toastique recipes precisely to maintain consistent flavor, quality, and yield.
- Produce multiple batches of bottled juices according to store production needs.
- Properly bottle, label, date, organize, and refrigerate finished juices.
- Monitor ingredient usage and juice yields to minimize waste and control food costs.
- Maintain accurate production and prep levels based on store needs.
- Break down, thoroughly clean, sanitize, and reassemble juicing equipment and the production area after use.
Team Member Responsibilities
- Assist with general food and ingredient preparation.
- Prepare Toastique menu items as trained, including gourmet toast, smoothie bowls, smoothies, coffee, and other items.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen and front-of-house environment.
- Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies.
- Assist guests and provide friendly, welcoming customer service when needed.
- Support other team members during busy periods.
- Follow all Toastique recipes, portion standards, food-safety procedures, and operating standards.
What We're Looking For
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of juice production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately.
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining product quality.
- Organized and clean while working with fresh produce and food-production equipment.
- Comfortable with repetitive food-preparation tasks and working on your feet.
- Able to lift and move boxes of produce and supplies as needed.
- Willing to learn all areas of the Toastique operation and work as part of the team.
- Restaurant, kitchen-prep, juice-bar, smoothie-bar, or food-production experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly—not just quickly.
Our juices are made from fresh ingredients in batches, so consistency, cleanliness, recipe accuracy, yield, and minimizing waste matter. You'll be trusted with an important part of our daily operation and expected to keep the juicing area organized from start to finish.
When juice production is complete, you'll work alongside the rest of our team to help deliver the friendly, high-quality experience our guests expect from Toastique.

Job Type: [Part-Time / Full-Time]
Pay: [$20–$24 per hour + tips]
Schedule: Must be available for designated juice-production shifts and other scheduled team-member shifts.
