Restoration Estimator / Business Development

Tri Tech Restoration | Los Angeles County, CA | Full-Time | $60,000–$90,000/yr + Commission

About Tri Tech Restoration

Tri Tech Restoration is a full-service restoration and general construction company with over 25 years of industry experience. We specialize in water, fire, smoke, mold, and vandalism damage,serving residential and commercial clients throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. As a preferred vendor for multiple insurance carriers, we operate at a high volume and hold ourselves to an equally high standard.

We’re seeking a seasoned, experienced estimator who can step in with confidence from day one. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building strong relationships with adjusters and clients, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth. This is a role for a proven performer, not an entry-level or developing estimator.

Who You Are

You’ve done this before. You’ve sat across the table from insurance adjusters, negotiated scopes, and closed jobs. You understand that this role is equal parts technical expertise and relationship sales — and you’re good at both. You manage your own time, follow through without being reminded, and take pride in your book of business.

If you’re a field technician hoping to move into estimating, this is not the right fit at this time. We need someone who can produce from day one.

What You’ll Do

Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties and produce detailed, accurate Xactimate estimates Negotiate scopes and supplements directly with insurance carriers, adjusters, and third-party administrators (Xactanalysis, Symbility) Build and maintain strong professional relationships with adjusters, property managers, and clients to generate repeat and referral business Self-manage your pipeline — prioritize jobs, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively with clients and internal teams Conduct job-in-progress site visits and provide guidance to project coordinators and field crews Follow up post-completion to ensure client satisfaction and nurture ongoing relationships Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within your network

What You Bring

Minimum 2–3 years of estimating experience in the restoration or insurance repair industry. This is a firm requirement, not a preference Proven track record of successfully negotiating with insurance carriers Proficiency in Xactimate (required); experience with Xactanalysis and Symbility is a strong plus A natural ability to build rapport and sell — you understand that relationships drive revenue in this industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional presentation is a must Highly self-motivated and organized — able to manage a full workload independently Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $60,000–$90,000 depending on experience and existing client/adjuster relationships Commission/bonus structure available for revenue generation and business development performance Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off
