Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our growing commercial team. Xseer Pharmaceuticals is a Los Angeles-based, FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facility and cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturer. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our customer base, establishing long-term clinical partnerships, and developing a highly lucrative Southern California territory. This is a true new-business, territory-building position ideal for a "hunter" who thrives on opening doors, earning the trust of healthcare professionals, and converting opportunities into active accounts.

Duties

Engage in targeted outside sales activities by visiting potential clients and conducting face-to-face meetings to promote Xseer’s 503B sterile injectable portfolio.
Identify and target new business opportunities by calling on qualified customers, including IV and infusion centers, physician practices, medical spas, wellness clinics, and eligible pharmacies.
Manage existing accounts with a focus on customer retention, repeat purchasing, and account expansion.
Conduct compelling, consultative discovery conversations to understand each account's purchasing process, product needs, ordering patterns, and operational challenges.
Develop and execute strategic territory business plans, including account segmentation, prioritization, and routing to maximize revenue goals.
Present approved pricing and commercial terms, and negotiate within authorized parameters to close deals effectively.
Coordinate customer onboarding, purchasing eligibility, required documentation, and account setup with Xseer's internal teams.
Maintain complete and timely records of customer interactions, opportunities, forecasts, and next steps in the company CRM.

Skills

Proven expertise in outside B2B sales and territory management, specifically focused on healthcare, pharmaceutical, or highly regulated medical markets.
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills with the ability to confidently close complex clinical deals.
Expertise in business development strategies, including cold calling, direct sales, and networking at industry conferences.
Excellent communication skills for conducting product presentations accurately in a regulated environment.
Ability to analyze market data, physician referral patterns, and sales metrics to optimize territory coverage.
Skilled in account management techniques that foster long-term, repeat-order client relationships.
Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to addressing clinical inquiries and escalating issues appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

Meet or exceed assigned goals for field activity, qualified meetings, pipeline creation, new accounts, and revenue.
Execute a territory business plan, prioritizing high-value healthcare facilities across Southern California.
Build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, administrators, and procurement teams.
Deliver clear, accurate product education aligned to approved messaging; do not make unsupported clinical, comparative, or regulatory claims.
Document customer interactions in CRM; maintain strong pipeline discipline and provide reliable sales forecasts.
Promptly escalate product complaints, adverse-event information, or quality concerns according to company compliance procedures.
Represent Xseer professionally at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.

Required Qualifications

At least two years of successful quota-carrying outside sales, B2B business development, or territory sales experience.
Documented success prospecting, opening new accounts, managing a pipeline, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
A genuine hunter mentality with the discipline to conduct consistent outbound prospecting and in-person customer visits.
Strong territory planning, organization, time management, and follow-through.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned Southern California territory.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling 503B products, sterile injectables, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, specialty pharmacy services, or infusion therapy.
Existing relationships with IV clinics, infusion centers, physician practices, medical spas, wellness clinics, or pharmacies in Southern California.
Familiarity with healthcare purchasing, account credentialing, pharmacy operations, or institutional sales processes.
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field (PharmD, RPh, RN, BSN, or another relevant clinical credential is a plus).

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $65,000 - $95,000 (USD) annually, based on directly relevant experience, demonstrated sales performance, and territory relationships. In addition, this role is eligible for additional performance-based commission or incentive compensation under Xseer's written sales compensation plan.

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a Health Savings Account, Life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid product/compliance training. Xseer also provides reimbursement of authorized mileage, travel, and other necessary business expenses in accordance with company policy.
