Full Job Description

Job description:

The Implementation Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing LegalMation's client onboarding and implementation function. This leader will manage a team of analysts who configure templates, data warehouses, and workflows tailored to each client's unique legal practice and operational needs. The Director will drive the build-out of scalable processes, standards, and quality control to ensure consistent, high-quality implementations across LegalMation's growing client portfolio — including major insurance carriers and enterprise legal organizations.

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Implementation Specialists responsible for configuring LegalMation's platform for new and existing clients.
Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct regular 1:1s and team reviews.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the implementation team.
Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering leadership to align implementation priorities with company objectives.

Client Implementation & Onboarding

Oversee end-to-end implementation engagements for enterprise clients, ensuring on-time, on-scope delivery with measurable quality outcomes.
Direct the configuration of document templates (answers to complaints, discovery responses and more) to align with client-specific workflows and jurisdictional requirements.
Guide the setup and validation of client data warehouses and document repositories in accordance with LegalMation platform requirements.
Serve as an escalation point for complex or high-priority client implementations, including multi-office or multi-jurisdiction rollouts.
Collaborate with clients to understand their legal workflows and ensure LegalMation's configuration accurately reflects their practice standards.

Process, Standards & Playbook Development

Design and own the implementation methodology, including intake processes, project plans, milestone frameworks, and QA checklists.
Build comprehensive implementation playbooks covering client onboarding, data intake, template configuration, testing, and go-live.
Establish and enforce documentation standards for all implementation artifacts, ensuring consistency and repeatability across client engagements.
Develop toolkits and repeatable frameworks for common implementation scenarios (e.g., single-office vs. multi-office, CA vs. NY discovery standards).
Continuously audit and iterate on playbooks and processes based on client feedback, post-implementation reviews, and team retrospectives.
Embrace the use of AI LLMs to streamline workflows and automate tasks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless handoffs from implementation to ongoing account management.
Work with Product and Engineering to surface client-reported gaps, document product feedback, and advocate for platform improvements.
Contribute to pre-sales activities such as scoping calls, implementation timelines, and SOW development when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

5+ years of experience in implementation, professional services, or technical onboarding roles within legal technology, SaaS, or enterprise software.
3+ years of direct people management experience, including team building and performance management.
Demonstrated experience building implementation processes, standards, and playbooks from the ground up.
Familiarity with civil litigation documents and legal discovery, including complaints, answers, RFPs/RFPDs, ROGs/FROGs, RFAs, and related pleadings.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder implementations.
Strong communication — able to engage confidently with both internal leadership and enterprise clients.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to monitor implementation health and drive continuous improvement.

Preferred

Experience at a legal technology company or within a litigation support, insurance, or claims environment.
Familiarity with document management systems, data warehousing, and SharePoint or similar platforms.
Experience supporting insurance carriers, self-insured entities, or large law firms as clients.
Prior exposure to AI-powered document generation or workflow automation platforms.
PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
