Outside Sales Account Manager - Process Measurement Instrumentation

Location: Los Angeles Basin, California (Local candidates or relocation required)

For over 45 years, we've partnered with many of the world's premier manufacturers to help customers improve plant reliability, efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.

We represent industry-leading manufacturers including Yokogawa, Raychem, MSA Safety, Eaton, Protectoseal, Process Insights and many others.

Our customers include municipal water and wastewater facilities, food & beverage manufacturers, power generation, chemical processing, oil & gas, life sciences, data centers, aerospace, and general industrial facilities throughout CA, NV & HI.

We're looking for an ambitious Outside Sales Account Manager to take ownership of a well-established Los Angeles Basin territory.

This is not a transactional sales position.

It's a consultative, relationship-driven role where you'll become the trusted advisor customers rely on to solve challenging process measurement and automation applications.

What You'll Do

As the Account Manager for your territory, you'll build long-term relationships with plant managers, operations leaders, engineers, maintenance professionals and instrumentation specialists, by helping solve some of their most challenging process applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and expanding an established customer territory throughout the Los Angeles Basin
Visiting customer facilities to understand their processes and identify new project opportunities or opportunities for improvement
Providing consultative solutions for flow, level, pressure, temperature, analytical, gas analysis, gas detection, liquid sampling, and process automation applications
Working closely with industrial manufacturers, engineering firms, municipalities, OEMs, contractors, and end users
Coordinating with manufacturers to deliver the best technical solution
Working with Inside Sales Team to prepare quotations, following projects from specification through completion, and supporting customers throughout the sales cycle
Staying current on emerging technologies through ongoing manufacturer training
Becoming the local process measurement expert that customers trust when solving difficult applications

Every day is different. You'll spend your time meeting customers, visiting industrial facilities, solving technical challenges, learning new technologies, and building lasting business relationships.

What We're Looking For

Preferred qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or another technical discipline (preferred)
Previous experience in industrial sales, process automation, instrumentation, controls, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries is highly desirable
High energy, curious, outgoing personality
Strong relationship-building abilities
Comfortable working independently while managing a sales territory
Strong organizational and time management skills
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
