Summary: We are looking for an ice cream maker and food preparer. No ice cream making experience is necessary, but kitchen and food experience is preferred. This role is in our kitchen space in Culver City.
About us: We are an enthusiastic team operating ice cream trucks, catering carts and shops in Hermosa Beach and El Segundo. Started in 2020. Our team is growing and we participate in events and catering at 800 events per year across greater Los Angeles. We work hard, have fun and care about our staff’s well-being.
About the role: You will play a critical role as one of our food prep & ice cream makers in our kitchen in Culver City. We have approximately 14 shifts per week available and we plan to split this between 3-4 employees, so that it can work in with your other jobs, education or personal commitments. We do prefer that you are available and work on a regular weekly schedule, so that scheduling is simple for everyone.
The main responsibilities of this position are…
- Using a batch freezer to make ice cream
- Bagging frozen fruit
- Making a honeycomb candy
- Cleaning the equipment and kitchen space
- Preparing pints or individual servings of ice cream for events
