About APEX

APEX Healthcare Management is a Los Angeles-based healthcare management company backed by a healthcare organization with more than 20 years of experience.

APEX works with Assisted Living and Memory Care communities to provide long-term Behavioral Health Management support designed to help facilities better manage resident behavioral challenges, support staff and leadership, and improve operational stability.

We are expanding throughout Greater Los Angeles and are looking for experienced Business Development professionals to independently develop and manage local territories.

The Opportunity

This is a field-based business development role, not an inside sales, telemarketing, or call-center position.

Our primary sales process is:

Cold In-Person Prospecting → Decision-Maker Engagement → Relationship Development → Pilot Program → Monthly Partnership → Long-Term Account Development

You will independently develop senior living communities within a geographic territory close to your home.

Phone calls and email may support the sales process, but in-person prospecting and face-to-face relationship development are the primary approach.

This role is best suited for a hands-on, action-oriented field sales professional who prefers being in front of clients rather than primarily researching, emailing, or working from a desk.

What You Will Do

* Conduct regular in-person visits to Assisted Living and Memory Care communities

* Develop new accounts through cold, face-to-face prospecting

* Reach Administrators, Executive Directors, Owners, Directors of Nursing, and other key decision-makers

* Build relationships and identify operational and behavioral health challenges

* Introduce APEX’s Behavioral Health Management services

* Move qualified prospects into a low-risk Pilot Program

* Convert successful Pilot clients into long-term Monthly Partnerships

* Maintain and expand long-term client relationships

* Develop additional facilities owned or managed by existing clients

* Independently manage your territory and sales pipeline

* Provide written business development progress reports twice per week

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced, independent, action-oriented field sales professional who can manage the complete B2B sales cycle with limited supervision.

The ideal candidate has:

* Strong B2B business development or outside sales experience

* Proven experience developing new clients from cold prospecting

* Meaningful experience with in-person field sales and cold walk-in prospecting

* Experience reaching business owners and senior decision-makers

* Ability to independently move prospects from first contact through closing

* Strong relationship-building and account management skills

* Strong communication, judgment, and negotiation skills

* Ability to communicate clearly and directly with clients

* Strong self-motivation and consistent execution without daily supervision

* Reliable transportation and willingness to visit facilities in person

Healthcare, senior living, medical, or behavioral health experience is helpful but not required.

We value proven field sales ability, execution, and independent business development experience more than industry background.

Time Commitment and Availability

This opportunity requires consistent availability during Monday–Friday business hours for in-person facility visits, client meetings, and follow-up activities.

The schedule is flexible and independently managed. However, candidates must have genuine weekday daytime availability to actively develop their territory.

This is not necessarily a traditional 40-hour office role. We care more about consistent field activity, client progress, and results than time spent at a desk.

Candidates should have sufficient weekday availability to make APEX a meaningful and consistent professional commitment rather than an occasional side activity.

Compensation

$750 Weekly Consulting Retainer

Plus:

* Pilot Program signing bonuses

* Monthly Partnership conversion bonuses

* Additional bonuses for developing multiple long-term clients within the same geographic area

* 7% ongoing revenue share from active long-term accounts you develop

The compensation model is designed to reward representatives who build a strong portfolio of recurring client relationships.
