The Senior Healthcare Programmer/Analyst is a data-driven professional responsible for designing and executing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large volumes of healthcare data. This role develops and delivers analytical reports for Health Plans, including ODAGs, Part C, Denial Logs, and Inpatient Referral Universes, while identifying trends and insights that support data-informed decision-making.
- Generate a high volume of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for Health Plans.
- Develop and maintain report formats based on Health Plan templates, including ODAGs, Part C, Denial Logs, and Inpatient Referral Universes.
- Automate report generation through the design and scheduling of SSRS reports to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards to monitor authorization turnaround times and denial rates.
- Clean, validate, and reconcile source data to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and intuitive visual dashboards.
- Perform complex data analysis using advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects while proactively communicating workload, risks, and deadlines to management.
- Respond to end-user requests for report customization, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work within established timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and ensure data consistency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $115,000 year to $125,000 year; Base pay may vary depending on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package may also include additional elements such as a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, financial, and other benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility and paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave). Details will be provided upon offer of employment.

Requirements:
- Strong familiarity with healthcare analytics.
- Minimum of 3 years of SQL programming experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within a healthcare organization.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience producing and analyzing compliance reports for Health Plan submissions.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, SSRS, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently.
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college preferred.
- Deep understanding of healthcare compliance reporting terminology and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of producing accurate, high-quality analytical work.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, trend identification, and reporting alignment.
- Experience with data modeling, data mining, and statistical analysis preferred.
- Be able to work on-site at our corporate office in West Hills, CA.
Compensation: $115,000 year to $125,000 year
