Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist

Your New Role

As our Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist, you’ll work closely with our CFO, Senior Accountant, and project teams as an integral part of our accounting operations. You’ll collaborate across departments and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the financial operations of the company.

In this role, you’ll

Handle the full AR cycle across our commercial, residential, and service operations, working with the accounting team to maintain strong controls, consistent processes, and reliable financial outcomes.
Proactively follow up with customers on outstanding and past-due balances to secure timely payment.
Monitor aging reports, prioritize collection efforts, and research and resolve billing discrepancies working with Project Managers, Estimators, and the accounting team.
Provide regular updates to leadership on collection progress and significant outstanding balances.
Support additional accounting tasks while gaining hands-on experience with our CFO and Senior Accountant, learning established processes and developing a solid foundation for future growth in the accounting field.

What We're Looking For

Outgoing, confident communicator who can navigate sensitive payment conversations while maintaining the professional relationships that are important to our business.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with accounting/ERP systems a plus.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Authorized to work in the United States.

This is a full-time, in-person position.
