What You’ll Do
DeltaV System Hardware
-
Perform firmware updates and lifecycle management for DeltaV control system hardware
-
Support legacy system maintenance and upgrade planning
DeltaV System Software
-
Perform operating system upgrades, service packs, patches, and fixes
-
Maintain virus protection and system security updates
Application & Control System Management
-
Maintain network security and user management
-
Maintain control system configuration libraries and standards
Alarm Management
-
Configure and maintain alarm attributes and logging systems
-
Support alarm rationalization and system reliability
Control Loop Tuning
-
Develop and maintain control loop functional specifications
-
Prepare control strategy documentation and loop drawings using SAMA diagrams or logic block diagrams
Control System Performance

Monitor and improve control loop performance
-
Utilize tools such as Emerson Insight to detect performance degradation and optimize loop performance
Instrumentation & Reliability
-
Partner with E&I technicians to develop and optimize preventive maintenance programs
-
Use monitoring tools such as ValveLink to support outage planning and reduce unplanned downtime
