Position Summary
The W. Fielding Rubel School of Business is the only private business school in Kentucky accredited by AACSB and was recognized among The Princeton Review's Best Business Schools in the South in 2026. We invite applications for a full-time faculty position in Business Technology and Artificial Intelligence, beginning in Fall 2027. The appointment will be at the assistant or associate professor rank, commensurate with the candidate's teaching experience and professional qualifications.
We seek an innovative educator and engaged scholar who can help prepare students and professionals to lead in an increasingly technology-driven business environment. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs and support initiatives in artificial intelligence, business technology, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in information systems, artificial intelligence, business technology, digital innovation, or a closely related field. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to translate complex technological concepts into practical applications for business leaders and professionals.

Primary Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems, business technology, artificial intelligence, and related disciplines.

Contribute to curriculum development in areas related to emerging technologies, digital transformation, and business innovation.

Engage in scholarly and professional activities consistent with AACSB expectations.

Participate in assessment, advising, and university service activities.

Support partnerships with industry and community organizations to enhance student learning and workforce development initiatives.

Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Technology Management, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Doctoral candidates with an expected completion date of July 2027 are encouraged to apply. ABDs within one year of completion will be considered. An earned doctorate is necessary for rank at the assistant or higher level.

Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and the mentoring of students.

Candidates should have a well-defined research agenda and the potential to publish in quality peer-reviewed journals within their area of expertise.
Preferred:
- Experience teaching graduate students and working professionals.

Industry experience involving technology implementation, analytics, digital transformation, or artificial intelligence.

Ability to teach in multiple modalities, including online and hybrid formats.

Interest in collaborating with external partners on applied projects, workforce development initiatives, and executive education programming.
