Full Job Description

Pioneer College Caterers at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is searching for an experienced food service manager to become part of our team.

Responsible for bookkeeping and office routines (cash handling, accounts payable, payroll, invoicing, attendance tracking, and other clerical functions)
Responsible for booking, staffing, execution of catered events
Assists with aspects of serving lines…interacts with guests in the dining room
Manages all student shifts
Experience with social media would be helpful, but not required
Must cover shifts on weekends – Management team rotates weekends off
Serves as the point of contact for planning catered events…develops banquet event orders and works with multiple campus departments
Must be able to work closely with the President’s Office and other high profile campus offices on planning catered events
College food service experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work in a high pace environment
Supervise and staff 30-40 employees.
Training experience helpful
Organize office
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
Scheduling Experience
Use of checklists
Team building approach to management
55+ hour work week
Ability to work long hours
Complete Foundations MIT program 18 months
