Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC machines and a passion for precision manufacturing. This role is essential in producing high-quality components that meet our customers' specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient machined custom parts and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Program Haas CNC mill, to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
Set up and calibrate CNC machine, ensuring it is functioning correctly before production runs.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, applying GD&T principles as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Employ lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in production.
Use Autodesk Fusion to assist in design modifications or create new part designs as required.
Utilize math skills for measurements and calculations during machining processes.
Develop specifications from description and make sketches of tools to be made.
Communicates changes with design or Leader
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
Proficiency with Haas controls and programming is preferred.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and GD&T practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Competence in using power tools for fabrication tasks, including welding when necessary.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
