What You Would Do
In this full time position you will be processing, verifying and posting payments, and researching and reconciling accounts.
How You Would Do It (may include, but are not limited to, the following):
- Applies customer payments to appropriate account.
- Researches and solves payment discrepancies.
- Processes credit card payments and credits.
- Adjusts accounts as needed.
- Prepares daily manual deposits.
- Maintains up-to-date billing system.
- Conducts billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Reconciles accounts.
- Maintains accounts receivable customer files.
- Follows established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
- Investigates and resolves customer queries.
- Process adjustments.
What You Must Have
- Associate degree; or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Accounting specific degree and/or training preferred.
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping and/or accounts receivable, and reconciliation of accounts
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to make decisions and problem solve.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must work well in a diverse team environment.
- Must have good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Physical and Sensory Demands:
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer and using a telephone or headset. Frequent hand and finger use is necessary for typing, navigating systems, and handling office tools or equipment. The role also requires:
- Clear verbal communication
- Active listening and sufficient hearing ability to engage in phone-based conversations, sometimes in environments with moderate background noise
- Visual acuity, including close and distance vision, and screen reading
- Occasional standing, walking, reaching, or lifting/moving items up to 25 pounds

Office/Call Center Environment:
- Professional indoor workspace with controlled temperature and consistent lighting
- Standard office equipment and ergonomic furniture provided
- Moderate noise levels typical of a call center or shared office setting
- May involve close proximity to others, background phone conversations, and in-person collaboration
- Noise levels must be managed to ensure effective phone communication and focus during work hours

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
