Full Job Description

Overview

Are you a CNC machine operator who takes pride in keeping processes running at tip-top levels? We are looking for a CNC Machine operator to run first shift production. If you love keeping processes moving and machines running, and have a keen eye for detail, this may be your next career. You will use state-of-the-art technologies, be part of a high-performance team, and develop next generation technology.

You’ll work first shift in a clean, climate-controlled shop that invests in high-end equipment and tools and encourages personal growth and cross training.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce high-precision parts.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to determine machining requirements and tooling needs.
Conversational and G-Code Program CNC machines using is preferred.
Ability to adjust programs, work offsets, and tool offsets as needed for optimal performance and keeping parts in tolerance.
Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy aligned with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Lean and 5-S. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and following proper procedures for materials handling and tooling.
Collaborate with team members on set ups, programs, production rates, and quality control processes to meet production goals efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
Blueprint reading and interpretation, dimension and tolerance understanding
Solid understanding of GD&T principles for dimensional measurements and quality control processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and utilize precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers for quality assurance.
Proficiency with CNC programming, G-Codes, and M-Codes; experience with Fanuc controls and Hurco controls is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly on the shop floor.
Shop math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations;
Experience working in an AS9100D environment with high-mix, high precision work
