Lifespring Women’s Healthcare is a dynamic OB/GYN practice dedicated to delivering exceptional women's health services. Our team of seven providers is committed to utilizing the latest techniques and technology to ensure high-quality, personalized care in a supportive environment.

We’re looking for someone exceptional—not just someone to answer the phones.

Lifespring Women’s Healthcare is a well-established, privately owned OB/GYN practice in Bentonville, and we’re looking for an experienced front desk medical receptionist to join our front-office team.

Our front office is the first impression our patients have of Lifespring. We need someone who is warm, polished, dependable, highly organized, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

This is a fast-paced position where you may be checking in a patient, answering the phone, scheduling an appointment, collecting a payment, helping with an insurance question, and responding to a provider—all within the same few minutes.

Has previous medical front-office or healthcare administrative experience
Is exceptionally dependable and takes attendance seriously
Has a warm, professional and confident communication style
Is comfortable interacting with patients in person and over the phone
Can multitask without becoming overwhelmed
Has excellent attention to detail
Is comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Can remain calm and professional when dealing with an upset or frustrated patient
Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
Is comfortable learning new technology and systems
Works well as part of a team and is willing to jump in wherever needed
Takes pride in creating a positive patient experience
Is looking for a long-term position, not simply the next job

What you'll do

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting and checking in patients
Answering a busy multi-line phone system
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
Checking patients out and collecting payments
Verifying demographics and insurance information
Assisting patients with questions regarding appointments, billing and office procedures
Communicating with patients by phone and through electronic messaging
Maintaining accurate patient information in our electronic medical record
Coordinating with providers, nurses and medical assistants
Obtaining and maintaining medical records when needed
Handling referrals and other front-office administrative tasks
Protecting patient privacy and following HIPAA requirements
Helping keep the front office organized, welcoming and running smoothly

Experience with ECW is a plus

Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or another medical EMR is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude, work ethic and ability to learn.
