We are a Small Business Insulation Company who Serves South Chicago Land & NWI. We Insulate Residential and Commercial Building's Attics, Exterior Walls, Sound Dampening, Crawl Space Encapsulations, and Some Spray Foam.

- Base pay Compensation (actual jobs are a full days pay of 8hrs, actual job may consist of 3-8hrs but you will be paid for 8. Odd jobs/shop days are hourly pay
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge & understanding how some basic tasks my be done & how to figure things out naturally for yourself without being told or shown what to do
- Follow Directions
- Install insulation materials as Requested Per Work Order or Instructions provided
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas as Needed
- Apply caulk/sealant/foam to ensure Air Sealing
- Install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials as required
- Repair or replace damaged insulation materials
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper insulation installation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Other Duties as Requested and are Required
- Keep shop and Production Vehicle Clean & Safe
- You Are Responsible for Keeping Track of your Tools we Provide
Experience:
- Basic Math Skills
- Performance based bonuses
- Enter Confined Spaces as Needed to Access Entry/Work Environment
- Previous experience as an insulator or in a related construction field is MUST but will train
- Knowledge of different types of insulation materials and their applications
- Able to install Roof vents (turtle vents), Dedicated Exhaust Vents on a roof, Gable Vents. (Not Required But is a HUGE PLUS & your pay will Increase)
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment used for insulation installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/construction plans/work tickets
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and their impact on insulation requirements
- Proficiency in drywall installation, carpentry, Roofing, and construction is a HUGE plus
- Mechanical knowledge and comfortability of walking and working on roofing structures is beneficial. As sometimes we are on roofs to access exterior walls of preexisting homes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

For Example, smallest Entry you will enter is roughly 15 inch x 10 inch to go into and perform work duties. Are you Physically able to enter something like so?
