Full Job Description

Make an impact supporting student communication and learning by providing speech-language therapy services in a dynamic school setting. This part-time contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 caseload of approximately 70 students, focusing primarily on articulation and language needs. The position centers on the supervision of an SLPA, observation hours, case management, conducting evaluations, and contributing to IEP development. Your expertise will ensure each student receives tailored support to thrive academically and socially.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms for virtual service delivery
Strong organizational and case management abilities
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Experience supervising or mentoring an SLPA is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and provide guidance to the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Conduct assessments and deliver therapy through both in-person and teletherapy formats
Lead observation hours and track student progress
Participate in case management, including evaluation and eligibility determination
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings as needed
Communicate regularly with educators, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
