Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented QuickBooks Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our finance team! This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, managing bookkeeping tasks, and supporting our accounting operations. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks.
Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Process payroll, including payroll taxes and deductions, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently, including invoice processing and collections.
Reconcile accounts regularly, including bank statements and credit card accounts, to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Assist with financial report writing, budgeting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
Support tax preparation activities by organizing financial documents and ensuring accurate reporting of taxable income.
Maintain detailed documentation of all transactions, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
Utilize spreadsheets extensively for data analysis, reporting, and tracking financial metrics with precision.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant with strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
Proficiency in accounting systems, financial software, spreadsheets, and general ledger reconciliation tools.
Experience processing payroll, managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
Strong grasp of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet management.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to interpret financial data clearly
Knowledge of tax procedures related to payroll processing and account reconciliation is advantageous.
Effective communication skills paired with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving within accounting workflows.
