Project Controls Cost Analyst

Location: Turkey, Texas
Pay: $40–$50 per hour
Per Diem: $175 per day
Schedule: Full-time, on-site
Contract: Six months

$175 Per Day in Per Diem

Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring an experienced Project Controls Cost Analyst for a six-month industrial construction project in Turkey, Texas.

This role supports project budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting, labor analysis, change management, Earned Value Management, and financial reporting. You will work closely with project leadership and field teams to identify cost risks, explain performance variances, and improve financial visibility.

What You’ll Do

Prepare weekly and monthly project cost, labor productivity, and progress reports.
Maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost trends, and financial data.
Monitor costs related to labor, equipment, subcontractors, materials, and other project expenses.
Identify budget variances, emerging risks, and potential cost impacts.
Support change orders, budget revisions, contingency tracking, and cost corrections.
Audit payroll coding, timekeeping, and labor allocations.
Reconcile project financial data and resolve discrepancies.
Support Earned Value Management and project performance analysis.
Coordinate with project management, field operations, accounting, procurement, payroll, and billing.
Assist with project audits, cost reviews, and progress reporting.

What We’re Looking For

Current OSHA 30 certification.
Experience in project controls, cost control, cost analysis, project accounting, or construction financial management.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, or labor productivity analysis.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to analyze detailed project and financial data accurately.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.

Experience supporting EPC, industrial construction, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, or heavy construction projects is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, business, or a related field is also preferred; relevant industry experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Compensation and Assignment Details

Pay: $40–$50 per hour
Per diem: $175 per day
Six-month, full-time contract
Non-exempt position
On-site in Turkey, Texas

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship. Employment eligibility will be verified at the time of hire.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
