Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new B2B client partnerships. This role requires a highly consultative sales approach to analyze complex client workforce challenges and deliver tailored temporary, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter who can build long-term executive relationships and navigate full-cycle B2B sales pipelines.

B2B Prospecting & Lead Generation

Identify and qualify high-potential business prospects within target geographic or vertical markets.
Execute multi-channel outreach, including strategic cold calling, professional networking, and digital prospecting.
Secure initial discovery meetings with key decision-makers, including HR Directors, Procurement, and C-Suite executives.

Consultative Solution Selling

Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to diagnose clients' unique labor constraints, operational goals, and talent gaps.
Design customized staffing proposals, pricing tiers, and workforce management solutions tailored to client needs.
Deliver persuasive sales presentations that clearly articulate the agency's value proposition, compliance standards, and vetting processes.

Contract Negotiation & Pipeline Management

Negotiate master service agreements (MSAs) and fee structures to protect profitability and manage corporate risk.
Manage the entire sales pipeline within the CRM, maintaining precise documentation of deal stages and communication history.
Achieve specific monthly and quarterly KPIs, including outbound activity, newly signed clients, and generated revenue.

Internal Collaboration & Client Onboarding

Partner with the recruitment team to assess candidate market availability before finalizing client service expectations.
Facilitate smooth transitions of newly won accounts to Account Managers or recruiters for seamless placement delivery.
Provide continuous market intelligence to internal teams regarding emerging industry trends and local competitor rates.

Experience

Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in B2B outside sales or business development.
Prior staffing industry experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding specific financial quotas and corporate growth targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
