Position Overview
As a 1099 Independent Contractor Delivery Driver/Installer, you will safely deliver and install appliances in customers' homes while providing outstanding customer service and representing DSR Logistics with professionalism.
This is a physically demanding position that requires long workdays, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Compensation
- $180.00–$200.00 per day

Performance Expectations
Successful contractors are expected to:
- Complete 14–20+ delivery stops per day
- Maintain a high completion rate
- Arrive on time for every scheduled delivery
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety
- Be available to work Monday through Saturday as scheduled
- Represent DSR Logistics professionally at every customer location
Responsibilities
- Deliver and install residential appliances
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck with a liftgate
- Install appliances according to customer and retailer specifications
- Remove old appliances when required
- Complete dishwasher and over-the-range microwave installations
- Lift, carry, and maneuver appliances weighing 75 pounds or more
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain delivery paperwork and mobile application updates
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
- Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
Minimum Qualifications
MUST HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND TO APPLY AND BE APPROVED!
- Minimum 2 years of delivery or 26-foot box truck driving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to consistently lift 75+ pounds
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal
- Must be available to work weekends
- Ability to work extended shifts beginning between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM
- Must provide personal hand tools required for appliance installations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Non-Negotiable Requirements
This is a performance-driven operation.
Applicants must understand the following expectations:
- No excessive absenteeism
- No last-minute call-outs
- No unsafe driving
- No misuse of company equipment
- No customer complaints due to unprofessional behavior
- No policy violations
Failure to maintain company performance standards may result in immediate removal from assigned routes.
Contractor Classification
This position is offered as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
Contractors are responsible for:
- Federal and state tax obligations
- Personal tools and equipment
- Work-related expenses not otherwise covered by contract
- Maintaining all required licenses and qualifications
This position does not include employee benefits.
