IntraNerve Neuroscience (INN) is hiring experienced R. EEG Technologists nationwide for remote, per diem continuous EEG monitoring (with FT/PT potential).
Pay: $29.00–$43.50/hour, based on ABRET credentials, EEG experience, and specific shift type.
INN has been accredited by The Joint Commission since 2010 and maintains a 1:4 technologist-to-patient ratio for continuous EEG monitoring. Through our secure portal, you’ll know exactly which physician you’re working with on every case, so overnight and weekend shifts never mean monitoring in isolation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The role of the remote EEG technologist is real time monitoring of continuous and intermittent EEG, detect abnormalities, notify oversight neurologists and other designated care providers of technical findings, and clip/prune studies. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, reliable, and experienced professional in the Neurodiagnostics field who can independently and competently provide monitoring on all patient populations. Key responsibilities include:

Demonstrate knowledge of adult, pediatric, and neonatal EEG patterns; both normal and abnormal

Decipher artifacts from cortical activity

Accurately monitor, detect, and clip/prune EEG abnormalities
-
Maintain a daily cEEG log and document appropriately to meet industry standards and company policies
-
Demonstrate competency in operating EEG equipment and troubleshooting as necessary
-
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
-
Understand medical terminology, ACNS EEG description terminology, and abbreviations used in the field of neurodiagnostics
-
Interact professionally with hospital staff, oversight neurologists, and other remote technologists
SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Per diem role requiring a minimum of 16 hours (4 shifts) of availability per week, preferably through weeknights and weekends, with FT/PT potential
-
Fully remote, work-from-home position requiring a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace free from unauthorized viewing
-
Requires sustained visual focus during continuous, real-time EEG monitoring throughout assigned shifts

Reliable cellphone coverage and internet service that can be upgraded to meet or exceed company standards

Backed by a dedicated business and clinical operations team for real-time support during shifts including experienced clinical coordinators and dedicated INN based IT personnel available 24/7

Requirements:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Required:

Must be ABRET board certified in Electroencephalography (R. EEGT) and Certification in Long-term Monitoring (CLTM) is required within 2 years of hire. INN covers the cost of CLTM certification when achieved

Must have a minimum of 3 years of post-training experience in long-term monitoring in ICU/EMU
-
Must comply with facility credentialing requirements for vaccinations and education
Preferred:
-
Experience in advanced epilepsy monitoring in the EMU, such as intracranial/stereotactic cEEG
-
Knowledge of Nihon Kohden, Cadwell, and Xltek EEG equipment
