Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist and a Scheduling Coordinator to join our Home Health Care Office. In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring a professional friendly relationship with our staff and visitors as well as a seamless scheduling of healthcare providers, patients, and care teams. Your proactive approach will help optimize patient care delivery, coordinate appointments efficiently, and uphold the highest standards of clinical confidentiality. Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily schedules for healthcare providers, including nurses, therapists, and support staff, ensuring timely patient visits and service delivery
Review medical documentation for accuracy and completeness, including care plans, medical records, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Utilize multiple EMR systems to input data accurately, schedule appointments, and update patient information efficiently
Communicate effectively with patients via phone and electronic messaging to confirm appointments, provide instructions, and address scheduling inquiries while maintaining professional phone etiquette
Maintain organized filing of medical records and documentation review to ensure compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and health information management standards

Qualifications:

Proven experience in medical scheduling or administrative support within a home health care setting

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10-key typing preferred)
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy while managing high call volumes
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to safeguard patient information
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and appointment coordination
