We are building a team of high-quality Cleaning Technicians who take pride in doing their best work and understand the level of care required to prepare vacation rental units for arriving guests.
This is not a position for someone who wants to simply complete a checklist and move on. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented team members who care about the quality of their work, notice the details others may overlook, and are willing to take the extra steps necessary to ensure every unit is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and fully guest-ready.
Cleaning Technicians will work as part of a team to complete vacation rental turnovers while meeting our high standards for cleanliness, organization, sanitation, stocking, and unit presentation.
Essential ResponsibilitiesBedrooms and Guest-Ready Presentation
- Strip used bedding and linens from beds.
- Make and finish beds according to company standards.
- Inspect bedding and linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
- Arrange pillows, blankets, furniture, and décor.
- Dust and clean bedroom furniture, lamps, headboards, and surfaces.
- Clean mirrors, windows, glass, doors, and other bedroom details.
- Vacuum and mop bedroom floors.
- Clean underneath beds and furniture as needed.
- Check closets, drawers, and storage areas for cleanliness and guest belongings.
- Ensure closets are organized and properly stocked.
- Complete final presentation touches before Quality Control inspections.
Bathrooms
- Thoroughly clean, disinfect, and sanitize toilets.
- Clean showers, bathtubs, sinks, vanities, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Remove soap residue, water spots, hair, and debris.
- Clean bathroom floors, baseboards, doors, and trim.
- Replace and arrange towels according to company presentation standards.
- Restock toilet paper, tissues, soaps, and other guest supplies.
- Inspect drains, fixtures, and bathroom equipment.
- Report maintenance concerns, leaks, damage, or missing items.
- Ensure bathrooms are spotless, sanitized, organized, and guest-ready.
Kitchens and Dining Areas
- Clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, backsplashes, tables, and chairs.
- Clean kitchen appliances inside and outside as assigned.
- Check refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, and cabinets for cleanliness.
- Remove food, grease, crumbs, spills, and residue.
- Wash, dry, and put away dishes or kitchen items as needed.
- Clean cabinet fronts, drawers, handles, and high-touch areas.
- Restock coffee stations, kitchen supplies, paper products, and guest amenities.
- Arrange kitchen and dining items according to company standards.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop kitchen and dining floors.
- Ensure all kitchen items are clean, organized, and properly placed.
Living Areas and Common Spaces
- Dust and clean furniture, shelving, electronics, décor, lamps, and surfaces.
- Clean mirrors, interior windows, glass doors, and fingerprints.
- Vacuum furniture, rugs, and floors.
- Sweep and mop hard-surface flooring.
- Clean underneath furniture and in corners.
- Arrange pillows, blankets, décor, and furniture.
- Remove cobwebs, dust, debris, and guest belongings.
- Ensure living spaces are clean, comfortable, organized, and welcoming.
Laundry Spaces
- Clean and organize in-unit laundry areas.
- Wipe down washers, dryers, shelving, and surrounding surfaces.
- Remove lint, dust, and debris.
- Restock guest laundry supplies.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning laundry equipment.
- Collect and transport dirty linens as needed.
- Deliver clean linens and towels to units.
- Assist with washing, drying, folding, sorting, and stain treatment when assigned.
- Maintain organization within laundry and linen storage areas.
Stocking and Guest Supplies
- Restock guest supplies throughout assigned units.
- Stock soaps, toilet paper, tissues, laundry supplies, kitchen items, and amenities.
- Ensure supplies are properly placed, labeled, and presented.
- Check housekeeping and guest supply closets.
- Notify management when supplies are running low.
- Report missing, damaged, or improperly stored items.
- Follow established inventory and stocking procedures.
Patios, Balconies, and Exterior Guest Spaces
- Clean patio and balcony furniture.
- Sweep patios, porches, balconies, and exterior guest areas.
- Clean outdoor grills.
- Clean exterior glass doors and railings.
- Remove cobwebs, dirt, debris, and fingerprints.
- Arrange exterior furniture according to company standards.
- Report damaged furniture, grills, railings, or other maintenance concerns.
Quality and Teamwork
- Follow company cleaning procedures, checklists, and presentation standards.
- Inspect completed work before leaving each room or unit.
- Correct cleaning or presentation concerns identified during Quality Control.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
- Communicate with teammates and management throughout the turnover.
- Assist team members when assigned work is complete.
- Take initiative when additional cleaning or presentation needs are noticed.
- Help ensure all assigned units are fully guest-ready by check-in time.
- Treat guest belongings, company property, and rental units with care.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, stains, missing inventory, or safety concerns.
Additional Duties
- Complete daily and weekly tasks assigned through Trello.
- Assist with seasonal and scheduled deep-cleaning projects.
- Help maintain housekeeping closets, carts, equipment, and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within common areas as assigned.
- Assist with laundry processing during busy turnover days.
- Perform additional cleaning or operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping, hotel, or vacation rental experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain quality while working efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and follow company cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, lift, and walk for extended periods.

Schedule
- Seasonal
- Part-time
- Up to 32 hours per week
- Working hours generally range between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Approximately 3–5 days per week
- Weekend availability required during peak season
- Flexible scheduling based on occupancy and turnover needs
- Hours may vary depending on reservations and business needs
