Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will craft exquisite baked goods, desserts, and pastries that delight our customers and elevate our culinary offerings. Your expertise in pastry preparation, food production, and food handling will be essential in delivering high-quality products consistently. As a key member of our kitchen, you will oversee the entire pastry process—from recipe adherence to food safety management—ensuring a clean workspace and efficient food production. Your energetic approach and culinary experience will inspire excellence in every creation, making each guest experience memorable.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity
Manage food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively during food production processes
Package baked goods for retail or catering purposes, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met
Follow recipes meticulously to ensure consistency across all products
Maintain strict food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
Assist in high-volume production environments, supporting catering events or large orders as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of all pastry items while adhering to health regulations
Help in cashier and dishwasher duties when needed

Experience

Proven pastry experience in a fast-paced food industry setting, including baking
Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and knives safely and efficiently
Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques
Experience with high-volume production environments and catering operations preferred
Skilled in recipe adherence, food presentation, and packaging for retail or catering needs
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in pastry preparation techniques
Prior kitchen experience demonstrating culinary expertise in baked goods and dessert creation
