Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Shift - 12 hours Nights (7-730a)

Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, where your expertise will be vital in delivering high-quality, urgent care to diverse patient populations. In this fast-paced environment, you will assess, stabilize, and treat patients experiencing acute medical conditions, ensuring swift and effective interventions.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR systems.
Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management tailored to emergency needs.
Perform critical procedures such as suturing, airway management, catheterization, and aseptic techniques to stabilize patients.
Triage incoming patients efficiently to prioritize care based on severity using established protocols and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
Collaborate with physicians and specialists for diagnostic evaluations like laboratory testing, radiology (CT scans), sonography, and specimen collection/processing.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical documentation throughout each shift for legal and quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience, post-orientation.
BLS, ACLS certifications
Nurses must demonstrate strong critical care skills, adaptability, and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
