Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients by washing, chopping, and organizing vegetables, fruits, and other food items. Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning work surfaces, utensils, equipment, and storage areas regularly. Help with the proper storage of food items to ensure freshness and safety, including labeling and rotating stock. Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are in good working order and report any maintenance needs promptly. Assist with dishwashing duties to keep the kitchen organized and hygienic throughout service hours. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Basic knowledge of food handling procedures and hygiene regulations is a plus. Ability to follow directions accurately while maintaining a proactive approach to daily tasks. Pay: $675.00 - $725.00 per week
