POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides personal care and basic care to patients assigned to Emergency Services, under the direct supervision of a RN.
May be assigned to psychiatric overflow areas or sitter duties as requested by management.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required:High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a Nursing Assistant I course approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Current listing with the NC Division of Facility Services Registry as a Nursing Assistant I.
BLS certification required: recertification required bi-annually
NCI/MH Training within 3 months of hire; recertification required annually.
Proficient in keyboard operations and basic computer applications.

Location: UNC Health Southeastern · EMERGENCY SERVICES
Schedule: Full time-Benefits, Nights / rotating weekends, 7pm-7am
