Project Manager – Custom Homes & High-End Renovations

The best Project Managers don't simply keep projects moving—they build trust.

Trust with homeowners through proactive communication, with trade partners through clear expectations, and with teammates because nothing important falls through the cracks.

At Alair Homes Green Bay, we're looking for an experienced residential Project Manager who genuinely cares about delivering exceptional homes and exceptional client experiences. This is a role for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, anticipates challenges before they become problems, and takes pride in delivering projects they're proud to put their name on.

Your Role

You'll own the successful delivery of custom homes and high-end renovations from preconstruction through project completion.

As the Project Manager, you're ultimately accountable for the client experience, financial performance, schedule, communication, and overall execution of every project in your care. You aren't simply coordinating the project—you own the outcome.

The Site Supervisor leads day-to-day field execution. Together, you ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to Alair's standards.

On any given week, you'll:

Lead custom homes and high-end renovations from preconstruction through project completion, aligning homeowners, designers, trade partners, and the project team around a shared plan.
Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for homeowners throughout the project.
Develop project scope, budgets, schedules, and execution plans that create clarity before construction begins.
Own the financial performance of each project through disciplined budgeting, forecasting, change order management, and proactive decision-making.
Guide homeowners through planning, selections, design decisions, and change orders while balancing budget, functionality, schedule, and overall client experience.
Partner with the Architectural Designer, engineers, municipalities, and trade partners to develop accurate, buildable plans and coordinate permitting and project execution.
Partner with Site Supervisors and the Project Coordinator to keep projects organized, well-communicated, and moving efficiently.
Address issues early, make sound decisions, and solve problems before they impact the client, budget, schedule, or quality.
Lead project closeout, final walkthroughs, warranty transition, and the overall client experience.
Look for opportunities to improve project execution, communication, and the client experience while consistently following established company processes.

You don't need to reinvent how we work. We're looking for someone who embraces our systems, understands the "why" behind them, executes them consistently, and contributes thoughtful improvements over time.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of successful residential Project Management experience, preferably in custom homes or high-end remodeling.
Proven success leading residential construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
Demonstrated history of delivering exceptional client experiences—not simply completing construction projects.
Strong understanding of residential construction, budgeting, scheduling, change orders, financial management, and project execution.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to confidently lead homeowners, designers, Site Supervisors, trade partners, and project teams through both everyday decisions and difficult conversations.

Direct residential construction Project Management experience with a proven track record of successful project execution and exceptional client outcomes is required. This is not an entry-level opportunity or a position for someone looking to transition into residential construction from another industry.
