Full Job Description

Part-Time Physician

Private Practice – Upper East Side, New York City

A well-established private physician practice on Manhattan's Upper East Side is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and personable part-time physician to join our growing team.

We welcome applications from neurologists, geriatricians, internists, family medicine physicians, emergency medicine physicians, and other physicians with an interest in geratric and cognitive medicine. We provide comprehensive training in our specialized diagnostic and treatment protocols.

This is an in-person position with a regular schedule of Monday and Wednesday mornings and Fridays, along with coverage for the practice physician during vacations.

About the Practice

For more than 25 years, our private practice has provided highly personalized care to patients from New York City and around the world. We are dedicated to maintaining health in geriatric patients and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a warm and efficient office environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage approximately 5–10 patients per day
Develop individualized treatment plans in conjunction with senior physicians
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis and treatment options
Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals
Participate in clinical research, if interested
Help maintain the exceptional patient experience that defines our practice

Qualifications

MD or DO
Active New York State medical license
DEA registration
Board-certified or board-eligible in your specialty
Eligible to work in the United States
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
