Job Overview:

Our growing construction company is looking for a dependable Management Trainee to join our team. We are looking for someone with integrity and a strong willingness to learn. Construction experience is a plus, but it is not required. We value character, motivation, and a willingness to learn above all else.

The right candidate should be hardworking, teachable, reliable, and able to work well with a crew. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the construction industry. They enjoy hands-on work and also want to learn the behind-the-scenes to further their career and grow within a company.

Responsibilities:

Be willing to learn the big picture of job site management.
Carry out both administrative and in-field tasks as needed.
Learn new construction skills as needed.
Assist carpenters, crew leaders, and supervisors with daily job site tasks.
Load, unload, carry, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
Help with remodeling, framing, demolition, repairs, punch-out work, and general construction tasks.
Follow directions and work safely around tools, equipment, ladders, and other trades.

Required Qualifications:

Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical work.

Standout Qualifications:

Previous job site Experience.
Previous Leadership Experience.
General knowledge of construction tools, methods, materials, and equipment.
Knowledge of business, sales, marketing, or management.
Post-Secondary Education.
