Close Quarters Tactical (CQT) and CQT Weapon Systems (CQTWS) are seeking an experienced Financial Manager / Human Resources Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations and human resource functions for our rapidly expanding companies.

This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing, retail, government contracting, and training environment. The successful candidate will work directly with executive leadership and play a key role in supporting continued national and international growth.

Primary ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management

Manage daily cash flow and company financial operations
Process and reconcile daily retail, eCommerce, and manufacturing sales
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Manage vendor payments and customer invoicing
Perform bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate general ledger entries
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
Monitor budgets and departmental spending
Assist with forecasting, financial planning, and cash management
Coordinate with outside CPA for tax preparation and financial reporting
Support government contract billing and payment tracking
Maintain internal financial controls and documentation

Human Resources

Manage employee onboarding and offboarding
Process payroll and maintain payroll records
Administer employee benefits, PTO, and insurance programs
Maintain personnel files and HR documentation
Coordinate recruiting, interviews, hiring, and orientation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and employment regulations
Maintain employee handbook and company policies
Handle performance documentation and disciplinary records
Assist department managers with staffing needs
Coordinate employee training records and certifications

Administrative & Business Operations

Prepare executive reports and KPI dashboards
Assist with budgeting and strategic planning
Support inventory valuation and purchasing processes
Coordinate insurance renewals and business licensing
Manage office administration and executive support functions
Improve workflows through automation and process improvements
Maintain confidentiality of all financial and personnel information

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or HR management
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
Experience with QuickBooks, ERP systems, or accounting software
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience in manufacturing, defense, firearms, aerospace, or government contracting is highly desirable
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
