Position Overview

The Dental Office Manager oversees daily operations, ensures efficient workflow, and maintains a professional, friendly atmosphere. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, confident in leadership, and experienced in dental office systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations and patient flow
Oversee scheduling, confirmations, and patient communication
Handle insurance verification, billing, and claims follow‑up
Maintain accurate patient records and compliance standards
Support and guide front desk and clinical team members
Monitor office performance metrics and identify improvements
Coordinate with vendors, labs, and service providers
Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training when needed

Qualifications

Experience in dental office management required
Strong understanding of dental terminology, insurance, and billing
Proficiency with dental software (Carestream Dental, formerly known as PracticeWorks)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Highly organized, dependable, and solution‑oriented
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Professional, positive, and team‑focused attitude
Experience with dental assisting is a plus
