Full Job Description

Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants and Research Institute is a small business in Macon, GA. Our goal is to provide the utmost care for our patients.

Our work environment includes:

On-the-job training

As a Clinical Cardiac Technician you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the clinic by assisting the doctor and the nurse during appointments. We’re looking for a person who is eager to learn from experienced professionals. You will be working with specialized cardiac patients. You must be able to work calmly, even in tense situations, and understand the importance of confidentiality. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a medical environment and has a genuine interest in helping people. Ultimately, this job requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude under challenging circumstances. Travel is required 2 to 3 days a week to satellite locations.

Responsibilities:

Obtain EKGs, blood pressures.
Interrogate pacemaker and defibrillators (on the job training provided).
Input data into electronic medical records.
Assist with patient examinations or treatments.
Provide first aid treatment to injured persons in emergencies.
