About SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC

SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC is the first cannabis testing lab in the state of GA and is experiencing rapid growth. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and personable Part-Time Office Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative and business operations of our Macon, Georgia office.

This is a versatile position that combines accounts payable and accounts receivable, office administration, customer communication, and basic marketing/graphic design. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities in a growing business.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Office Administrator will provide administrative and financial support to the organization while serving as a professional first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors. This position will also assist with company communications and marketing materials, including flyers, newsletters, and other basic graphics.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Administration

Assist with accounts payable (AP), including processing invoices, organizing vendor records, and tracking payments.
Assist with accounts receivable (AR), including preparing invoices, tracking outstanding balances, and following up on accounts as needed.
Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
Assist with data entry, expense tracking, and other basic accounting-related tasks.
Communicate professionally with vendors and clients regarding billing and account questions.
Maintain organized electronic and paper files.

Office Administration & Communication

Answer and route incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond to routine emails and correspondence.
Greet visitors and provide general office support.
Maintain office supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Schedule meetings and assist with general administrative coordination.
Prepare documents, spreadsheets, forms, and other office materials.
Provide administrative support to management and other team members as needed.

Marketing & Communications

Create and update basic flyers, newsletters, announcements, presentations, and other marketing materials.
Assist with company communications and internal/external announcements.
Maintain consistent company branding across printed and digital materials.
Assist with basic social media or digital communication content as needed.
Help organize promotional and informational materials.

General Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of company, client, financial, and other sensitive information.
Work independently while communicating effectively with management and team members.
Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as the company grows.
Represent SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC in a professional and positive manner.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, accounting, communications, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in office administration, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or a similar role preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and spreadsheets.
Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software is preferred.
Experience creating flyers, newsletters, presentations, or other graphics is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a small-business environment where responsibilities may vary from day to day.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule to be determined based on the needs of the company and the selected candidate. There is a potential for the position to become full time.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
