Full Job Description

Overview
We are looking for a proficient Radiologic Technologist to enhance our healthcare team. The selected candidate will be tasked with executing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures that facilitate accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. A comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential, along with expertise in multiple imaging modalities, including X-ray and MRI techniques. This position demands high competency in a dynamic clinical environment, ensuring the delivery of superior patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-Rays and MRI's.
Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and guidelines during imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while explaining the process to alleviate any concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging results.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and assist in diagnosis.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications

Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential for accurate imaging.
Experience or familiarity with urgent care settings is preferred.
Proficiency in various imaging modalities including X-Ray and MRI.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program is required; state licensure may also be necessary.
Must hold ARMRIT/ ARRT Certification
