Job Overview

Sedghi Law, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our team in our Macon office.

We are a busy, established law firm looking for someone who is professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior law firm experience who is looking for a long-term position with a successful practice, competitive compensation, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and organize client files
Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, attorneys, and court personnel
Prepare correspondence and legal documents
Assist with discovery and litigation matters
Request and organize medical records, bills, and other case documentation
Monitor deadlines and maintain case calendars
File documents with state and federal courts
Assist attorneys with case preparation
Maintain accurate and detailed information in our case-management system
Provide general administrative and legal support as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience working in a law firm preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Professional and courteous communication with clients
Strong computer and technology skills
Ability to work independently while also being a team player

Experience in personal injury, civil litigation, or insurance-related matters is a plus, but we will consider candidates with experience in other areas of law.

Paralegal certification is helpful but not required for a candidate with relevant law firm experience.
