About the Job
Under the direction of the Program Director, the Sport Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sport Coordinator will be responsible for building relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levels.
Requirements
- Sport specific expertise in Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Tennis and/or Cheerleading
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to efficiently solve problems
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Ability to motivate and manage others (i.e. coaches and teams)
- Extremely reliable and responsible
- Ability to take charge of any situation that involves the safety of players
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays for the entire season (6 weeks) and attend a weekly virtual meeting.
- Energetic personality who works well with others and loves to have fun
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be willing and able to work outdoors for long periods of time.
