Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated Pipe Welders/Stick Welders/Fitters to join our growing Natural Gas Pipeline and Utility Construction team. Must be willing to stay out of town when necessary . Home on weekends. Training in the fab shop and in the field available if you require it. You will be responsible for performing precise welding and fitting tasks on various piping components and miscellaneous fabrication. Truck and tools provided. Weekly per diem paid for out of town work. Hotel stay and transportation provided.

Duties

Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine welding and fitting requirements.
Perform MIG welding, welding with precision on steel pipe
Fabricate components through cutting, bending, pipe threading, assembly, and pipe welding according to specifications.
Fit and install piping systems including plumbing and pipeline networks while following ASME codes & standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
Conduct pipe threading, tube bending and pipe fitting tasks with attention to detail.
Adhere strictly to safety regulations such as OSHA general construction site safety protocols.
Assist with rigging, pipe installation, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting on construction sites.
Interpret technical drawings and schematics for assembly or repair projects while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Welders are a part of the team like everyone else. When welding is not required there are many other things that need to be done on the job
Must be willing to weld on live gas lines.

Preferred Experience

Natural Gas Pipeline Welding experience is preferred. Welding in industrial or in construction settings experience is required (at a minimum) as a starting point for pipeline welding, We do not teach welding without tenure in the organization.
Experience or interest in learning blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing analysis is preferred.
Experience operating excavator/dozer is preferred.
Hands-on experience with pipefitting, fabrication processes, pipe threading, soldering, tube bending, and pipe welding is preferred.
Familiarity with safety regulations such as general construction site safety.
Ability to work as part of a team effectively on construction sites with a focus on quality and safety.
Skilled in using hand tools like calipers or power tools safely while following all safety protocols.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication projects.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
