Full Job Description

Summary: Are you a problem-solver who loves helping people and thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment? Join our team at The UPS Store 3688 in the Warner Robins area! We are looking for an engaging and efficient associate to deliver exceptional customer service, promote our products and services, and handle everything from specialized shipping to high-volume print production.

What You Will Do:

Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, quickly determine their needs, and offer tailored solutions and additional services that exceed their expectations.
Shipping & Logistics: Receive, weigh, and process packages for shipping using our shipment manifesting software. Pack contents securely using established procedures. (May occasionally require retrieving packages from a customer's vehicle).
Mail & Claims Management: Accurately sort and place mail into correct mailboxes. Process and document damaged shipments, as well as late or lost package claims.
Print Production & Technology: Receive and prepare digital and physical documents for printing. Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and other office machinery efficiently and safely.
Store Operations: Process sales transactions accurately in the Point of Sale (POS) system. Perform end-of-day reconciliation (cash, checks, credit cards) in accordance with company policy.
Merchandising & Maintenance: Assist in stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels (including paper, toner, and retail supplies), and maintaining general store cleanliness and organization.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience: 1+ years of customer service and sales experience in a retail environment.
Tech-Savvy: Strong computer and POS experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, or the ability to quickly learn new software is a major plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with customers in person and over the phone.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity is required to operate POS systems, binding machinery, packaging tools, and complete paperwork.

Are you currently a commissioned Notary Public, or are you willing to become one within your first 90 days?
Are you Available to work - 2 weekends per month. Open hours; Saturdays 9am- 4pm based on location, and Sundays 11am - 4pm.
Are you available to work mid-day to closing shifts? The store closes at 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.
