Position Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the successful execution of production and project fulfillment activities by coordinating schedules, tracking progress, ensuring material readiness, and facilitating communication across departments. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and align with customer requirements.
The position acts as a key link between Planning, Production, and Logistics to maintain efficient workflow and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Preparation
- Review project requirements, Bills of Materials (BOM), and work orders prior to release.
- Validate configurations, quantities, and customer specifications
- Coordinate with production team to ensure readiness.
- Support creation and maintenance of schedules and job travelers.
2. Coordination & Material Readiness
- Ensure all materials, components, and finished parts are staged and organized by project supporting the Purchasing team.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and documentation against work orders and packing slip.
3. Production Monitoring & Execution
- Track production progress and compare against schedules.
- Identify delays, risks, or bottlenecks and escalate as needed.
- Adjust plans collaboratively to maintain delivery commitments
- Support adherence to production schedules and workflow efficiency
4. Cross-Functional Communication
- Act as the primary coordinator between production, logistics, and other departments.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and performance.
- Facilitate alignment meetings and ensure clear communication across teams.
5. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare and maintain project and production reports.
- Analyze key metrics such as schedule adherence, output, and delays.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies
6. Quality & Documentation Control
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Enforce double-check verification processes for parts and documentation.
- Support compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
7. Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate shipment preparation based on project requirements
- Verify packing accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Ensure final inspections are completed prior to shipment [SOP - Proj...ulfillment | Excel]
8. Continuous Improvement & Process Support
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Identify areas for better efficiency in planning, coordination, and execution
- Support implementation of SOPs and operational standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, production planning, or manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
