As a Market Development Associate, you'll help expand our presence across multiple states by creating strategic partnerships, developing referral networks, and representing our company throughout the communities we serve.
This isn't a desk job.
Every week is different. One day you may be meeting with insurance agencies, another day networking at a community event, and the next helping expand a new market alongside company leadership.
It isn't a high-volume cold calling position.
Instead, you'll travel throughout our markets, meet with business owners and professionals, attend networking events, develop referral partnerships, and play a direct role in helping our company grow.

What You'll Do
As a Market Development Associate, you'll serve as a relationship builder and brand ambassador for Vertical Solutions Roofing & Construction.
Your primary responsibility will be creating and maintaining professional relationships that generate long-term opportunities for our company.
Responsibilities Include
- Build and maintain referral relationships with insurance agents and brokers, real estate professionals, brokerages, property management companies, and homeowners associations across assigned territories.
- Develop referral channels and strategic partnerships that generate qualified business opportunities and support long-term company growth.
- Expand market presence by representing Vertical Solutions Roofing & Construction at networking events, home shows, golf tournaments, chamber events, sponsorships, career fairs, and other community events.
- Create qualified partnership opportunities by identifying high-value contacts, nurturing relationship-based pipelines, and maintaining disciplined follow-up across multiple markets.
- Proactively engage and follow up with existing company leads to keep pipelines active, strengthen relationships, and ensure opportunities never go overlooked.
- Educate referral partners and homeowners on the value of our Maintenance Membership Program while helping expand recurring revenue opportunities.
- Partner closely with our sales, operations, recruiting, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure excellent communication and a seamless customer experience.
- Provide market insights, partnership feedback, and territory intelligence that help leadership continue expanding into new markets.

Compensation & Benefits
- Target Earnings: $75,000-$100,000+ annually
- Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus structure
- Recurring monthly commissions on Maintenance Memberships you personally sell
- Company-paid travel, including flights, hotels, rental vehicles when required, and a company card for approved travel meals

Travel Requirements
This is a field-based position requiring approximately 50-75% travel throughout our operating markets.
All approved business travel expenses are covered by the company.
