Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (Lathe Operator) who can run lathes independently while following safety procedures and producing high-quality parts. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes to produce precision parts.
Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Monitor machines, make necessary adjustments, and ensure quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe workplace.
Work collaboratively with other departments and team members within the machine shop to meet production goals.
Keep accurate production records and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience as a CNC lathe operator.
Comfortable running CNC lathes with minimal training or supervision.
Strong understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently.
Read blueprints, understand specifications, and mechanical drawing.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and CNC programming.
Able to program in CAM software (SURFCAM and GibbsCAM are a plus).
Haas control knowledge is a plus.
